There are 12 AV-enhanced classrooms throughout the College and they all operate essentially the same way. There is a Crestron control panel located somewhere in the room that you use to operate all the AV equipment. When you want to use the system you locate the control panel and turn the entire system on (shades may come down, lights may dim, projector powers up, screen comes down). If there is an instructor computer in the room it is supposed to always be left on. Some of the rooms do not yet have computers in them.

There are several fairly easy to understand options on the control panel. There are too many options to explain easily in a web page, but the IT staff is happy to provide one-to-one assistance or a workshop for a department if requested.

When you finish using the equipment you should turn it all OFF using the Crestron control panel. Otherwise, the next person to use the room will encounter problems.
