How do I access Web Self-Service?
You can access Web Self-Service using your New River ID number (9 digits) as your User ID and your 6-digit date of birth as your PIN and the Login link above. If you do not know your 9-digit New River ID number you may obtain it from any of our campus Student Services personnel or by contacting our Help Desk (304-929-6725 or itsupport@newriver.edu). You'll need to provide sufficient information to prove your identity to obtain the information.
Enter Secure Area
New River currently receives access to SCT Banner through Bluefield State College (see Login Page for Web Self-Service BSC). Using Web Self-Service, students are able to access their personal course schedules, grades, unofficial transcripts, and other information. Instructors are able to obtain class rosters, current schedules, and submit both mid-term and final grades.

You may also complete our online Prospect Information Form if you would like to receive additional information about becoming a New River student.
Apply for Admission

Course Catalog
One way to get information about any course taught at New River is to use the Course Catalog information available through SCT Banner. Because we share this information with Bluefield State College please be sure to look for the courses with "NR" in the course title (this denotes them as New River courses). We also have just the New River courses in an online Course Catalog in PDF format.

Web Self-Service WVNET
New River is transitioning from Banner hosted at BSC to Banner hosted at WVNET starting with the Fall 2009 term (201001). All data for this term is accessible through Banner WVNET, including Web Self-Service WVNET.
