About IT Training and Workshops

The IT staff provides one-on-one assistance and training on a variety of topics. We are working to create a curiculum of brief workshops that will address topics of current interest. The workshops that we offer are for New River faculty, staff, and students only. They are not credit-bearing workshops and are not part of any New River courses available to the public. They are intended only to serve as professional development for faculty/staff and for informational purposes for students. Often, we are asked "How do I..." questions for a variety of issues. As we document the procedual steps for completing various tasks we will document them as quicksteps so that others can benefit from the information.
