Public Higher Education Center

The Public Higher Education Center (PHEC) is accessible from I-64 just outside of Beckley, WV. It serves as an educational consortium to six colleges and universities (see list below). The purpose of the PHEC is to make higher education possible by keeping classes local and easily accessible. Classes and administrative offices for these institutions are housed at the PHEC. Credits for classes at the center are designed to be easily transferable between the participating institutions.
